The Empresa Ferroviaria Andina (FCA) runs the train network of western Bolivia. Its most famous passenger corridor links Oruro with Villazón, on the border with Argentina, crossing the Altiplano and passing through Uyuni —gateway to the salt flat— and the red canyons of Tupiza. Two trains run this route: the fast Expreso del Sur and the Wara Wara del Sur, which stops at all twelve stations.
