Sevaruyo Station
Sevaruyo is a small Altiplano settlement on the stretch between Huari and Río Mulato, surrounded by the vastness of the puna. (The railway branch to Potosí does not start here but at Río Mulato, further south.)
It was a stop of the Wara Wara del Sur, the train that called at every station on the corridor, but that service has been suspended since 2021 and no return has been announced. There is no passenger train at Sevaruyo today: the Expreso del Sur – Ferrobús, the only train running since June 2025, stops only at Oruro, Uyuni, Atocha, Tupiza and Villazón. The nearest station with a train is Oruro or Uyuni.
