Huari Station
Huari (Santiago de Huari), south of Challapata, is known throughout Bolivia for Huari beer, which is brewed in the town.
It was a stop of the Wara Wara del Sur, the train that called at every station on the corridor, but that service has been suspended since 2021 and no return has been announced. There is no passenger train at Huari today: the Expreso del Sur – Ferrobús, the only train running since June 2025, stops only at Oruro, Uyuni, Atocha, Tupiza and Villazón. The nearest station with a train is Oruro.
