Explore southern Bolivia by train
The Ferroviaria Andina train —the Expreso del Sur and the Wara Wara del Sur— crosses the Altiplano from Oruro to Villazón and leaves travellers close to some of the most spectacular places in Bolivia: the Salar de Uyuni, the Train Cemetery, the red canyons of Tupiza and the Oruro Carnival. Here you will find which station is nearest to each attraction and how to cover the final stretch. Bear in mind that this is a long-distance train with only a few departures a week: plan ahead.
